Exploring real-world challenges. Connecting with industry and community. Making a difference.
Join us for an interactive showcase and networking event that puts bold ideas into action. 'People, Place, Purpose' highlights innovative work responding to real-world challenges in the city, the region and beyond, through the lens of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, all led by students from across the Faculty of Arts, Humanities, and Business who’ve been putting their knowledge and skills into practice.
Explore work spanning business, film, design, photography, education and more – from documentary films on social issues to art installations responding to climate change and industry collaborations shaping more sustainable futures. Meet changemakers working with partners like ²ÝùÊÓƵ Sound National Marine Park, Queer Out Loud and community-led sustainability initiatives, and be part of the conversation.
Expect an interactive exhibition, thought-provoking panels and the chance to connect with students, academics and organisations all passionate about making a difference.
Whether you’re into social change, sustainability or creative collaboration, this is your space to connect, contribute and be inspired as sustainable global citizens.
